VCDT
VISUAL CODING DISPLACEMENT THERAPY
If someone can
be traumatised in 30 seconds,
why can't they be healed in a day, an hour, a
minute?
- Rick Wilkes
VCDT is a technique developed by Nik & Eva Speakman, Life
Coach team from the successful TV programme A Life Coach Less
Ordinary: Nik and Eva say, about VCDT, in their book Your Life Can Be Fantastic
Too: "This is another versatile and highly effective treatment that we use extensively." That's because
VCDT works successfully in minutes (particularly for
fears and phobias) rather than weeks, months or even years using traditional psychotherapy methods. I was
privileged to attend a seminar for a select 30 Therapists in November 2008 when I was trained in VCDT,
apparently there are only 30 qualified Therapists world-wide, so a unique opportunity for those in need of
a permanent and speedy successful result and come to Dalyan, Turkey!
To read more about Nik & Eva's success using VCDT during their
seminar in November for a select 30 Therapists click here: Dalyan Times you will be amazed to read about
people who had had fears for more than 50 years being cured in less than 20 minutes.
VCDT is a relatively simple technique to use, very similar to
SWISH (used in NLP - Neuro Linguistic Programming) but rather than focusing on visionary, auditory or
kinesthetic aspects of a traumatic memory for example, a more effective and quicker method is to locate where
the traumatic memory is held in the brain and then neutralise it. Using this therapy it's possible
to notice, when asking the client to move only their eyes in a circle (the Therapist has an object
for the client to focus on which is rotated in front of them) when the traumatic memory is
triggered; it's the position of the eyes that give the Therapist
the clue and indicates when the strongest internal trigger points are accessed - these are held in
different parts of the brain - as the eyes flicker or there are physiological changes.
Once this point has been discovered the Therapist very quickly
moves the object (and the client is instructed to follow this movement with their eyes) to a neutral (eye/brain)
position. Nik Speakman uses a watch for his clients to focus and during the VCDT
procedure, he said that he has broken a Rolex watch doing this! Thankfully I have quite a few broken watches
that I can use.

you book your Mind Harmony 4 Life (Life Coach) healing holiday.
MY FIRST EXPERIENCE OF VCDT
Penny and I practiced the Visual Coding Displacement technique on each other – as demonstrated
by Nik Speakman to reduce someone’s desire to eat bars of chocolate but specifically Kitkats! VCD can be
used very successfully to help with fears as Nik & Eva demonstrated time and time again during their seminar
– severe fear of heights for example. I worked with Penny for her fear of spiders which improved at the time (I
asked her if it was a total success but haven’t seen her to test how successful my first attempt was) but we
used it the other way around on me ie I wanted to like something instead! We worked on my dislike of eating
fresh fruit, apart from bananas, and for the exercise during the seminar we used a peach from the fruit bowl
provided. It wasn’t a very juicy peach, not very appetizing at all, but I did bite into it and managed to eat
some of it. The good news is though that I did eat peaches in Australia and Mangoes too, so even though I
didn’t use it as instructed, VCD does work to change how you think or feel about
something!
Your fears have stopped you before,
but they need not stop you now.
What's the worst
that can happen?
And if that happened, what would happen then?
And if that happened, then
what?
Now...if you give
in to your fears,
where will that leave you? Right where you are now?
And if that's where you want to be,
why is the other option even a little bit exciting to you?
